Fashion in Tokyo is constantly changing, inspired by unusual styles and images. Lulu Hashimoto is the newest muse on the Japanese fashion scene. She is called a "living doll."
And not in vain. Indeed, in fact, Lulu is a costume for the whole body, consisting of a wig, mask and stocking. The creator of this doll is Japanese Hitomi Komaki, a young fashion designer. Dressing in kigurumi costumes in Japan is a whole art. Komaki decided to take it to a new level, creating a suit for the whole body.

In an interview, Komaki says: “Many people call my project a fetish. But for me this is not so. Lulu is, first of all, a means of expressing fashionable creativity. You wear beautiful clothes, or, say, false eyelashes to be more attractive? ”

Komaki also emphasizes that there is only one Lulu costume. But among those who already wore it, there are dancers, designers and models. The identity of the inside is always kept secret.

Lulu’s ability to blur the line between reality and fiction has already attracted a lot of fans on the Internet. “It's amazing that Lulu unites the world of dolls and people. After all, these two universes are on different planes, ”said 24-year-old Erica, who first met Lula at a special event for fans.

“And I would like to become as beautiful as Lulu. Well, at least once in a lifetime, ”says 22-year-old Miu Shimoda.

However, not everyone is enthusiastic about Lulu. Some emphasize that the doll is too realistic, and inspires fear. Indeed, puppet joints are depicted on the Lulu costume, and in general, her image is more than artificial. However, it is entirely possible that the invasion of artificiality with the progress of science and technology is irreversible.
